• Location data — city and country for discovery and city-unlock features
• Device information — for push notifications, app performance, and security
• Usage data — swipe behavior, match history, and chat interactions to maintain the slot system

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to operate the Bemi platform:

• Match you with compatible users based on preferences and location
• Enforce the 6-match limit and swap accountability system
• Power the city-unlock viral growth mechanic
• Send notifications about matches, messages, and city unlock status

3. What We Don't Do

• We do not sell your personal data to third parties
• We do not use your data for targeted advertising outside the app
• We do not create fake profiles or inflate user counts
• We do not share your precise location — only city-level data

4. Data Storage & Security

All data is stored on encrypted servers. Photos are processed and stored via Backblaze B2 with access controls. We use industry-standard security practices including JWT authentication and TLS encryption for all communications.

5. Your Rights

You can:

• Delete your account and all associated data at any time
• Update your profile information in-app
• Toggle push notification preferences
